Directions
Travel east on the Long Island Expressway to Exit 71. Continue to the end of the exit ramp and turn left at the stop sign. Travel north on Edwards Avenue to the 2nd traffic light (approximately 3.4 miles) and turn right onto Sound Avenue (aka the North Road). You will travel approximately 25 miles into Greenport. (Greenport is the Village after Southold). After you pass the Sound View Restaurant and Inn on the left and San Simeon Nursing home on the right begin to look for the double flashing yellow light. Turn right (25W) and travel 3/10 of a mile and stay to the right onto First Street when the road forks. The Soldiers Monument Park will be in the center of the fork. The Funeral Home is the second house on the right.
Travel time from LIE Exit 71 is approximately 45 minutes.
